Ray-Ban General

Introduced to mark the 5oth Anniversary of Ray-Ban. The General celebrates Douglas MacArthur, Commander-in-Chief of Allied Forces in the Pacific during the second world war and one of the most famous early wearers of Ray-Ban sunglasses. His ornate peak cap, beechwood pipe and gold framed Ray-Ban sunglasses-that became his trademark-are preserved, till date in a Norfolk museum at Virgnia.
The gold plated frame of The General closely resembles the early Ray-Ban metal frames of the 1940's updated with RB-50 lenses.
